Frame: registration, statutory and extended warranty
Inside each frame is a microchip with a unique identification code. Since it is a distinctive feature of Diamant products, the microchip must not be removed.

1. WARRANTY DURATION
The frame is guaranteed for 5 (five) years if bought online at www.ducati-cycling.com or from any authorised DUCATI CYCLING dealer, but only on the strict condition that the customer registers the product on www.ducati-cycling.com within 60 days from the date of purchase. In the event of failure to register the product on time, the warranty is reduced to 2 (two) years from the date of purchase. Painted finishes have a 2- year warranty. Normal wear and tear is not covered. 
Please note that the extended warranty for products is not automatically granted upon registration: DIAMANT S.r.l. reserves the right to verify the accuracy of the data entered and, more generally, the applicability of the warranty. If a product is repaired or replaced under warranty, the repaired or replaced product remains covered by the original warranty, but no renewal/extension of the initial warranty period shall apply. If a product is replaced under warranty, the replaced product becomes the property of DIAMANT S.r.l.
For a 'Certified pre-owned' Ducati Cycling product, the warranty period is reduced to one (1) year from the date of purchase.

2. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The following circumstances are not covered and/ or may result in the forfeiture of the warranty:

• The products are not accompanied by a document certifying their purchase online or with an authorised dealer (receipt/invoice). For pre-loved products, a copy of the receipt/invoice from the original purchaser must be obtained to maintain the warranty's validity. In this case, the warranty period (provided the appropriate documentation is shown and the product has been registered as specified above) is not extended; it remains the same as the initial warranty.
• Product identification codes have been removed, altered, deleted or made illegible.
• The onset of normal wear and tear (including fatigue*).
• The occurrence of damage caused by abuse or improper use, incorrect assembly (for example, incorrect tightening torques), lack of proper maintenance, accidents, accidental impacts, corrosion, the use of cleaning products containing aggressive agents, the use of incompatible products, repairs not carried out correctly, and, in general, anything that does not constitute a defect in materials or manufacturing.
  
• Products reach the end of their useful life.
  
• Changes that occur because of exposure to ultraviolet rays (discolouration, yellowing, colour alteration).
  
• Changes that have occurred because of a saline environment.
  
• Repainting of products (even if only partially).
  
• Any modification, tampering or alteration by the customer.
  
• Work carried out to repair or replace components not assembled by DIAMANT S.r.l.

* Fatigue is a form of wear caused by repeated low-intensity stresses that can cause a part to break.

This additional warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of the defective FRAME KIT. All components of the bicycle (gearbox, chain, brakes, levers, handlebars, wheels, pedals, cranksets, tires, saddle, etc.) are excluded from this warranty, as they are covered by the limited warranties provided by their respective manufacturers. The list of manufacturers of the main components is indicated in the bicycle's technical data sheet, in the user manual, or in the accompanying documentation. This information is provided to ensure transparency and facilitate the processing of warranty claims. 

3. EXERCISE OF WARRANTY RIGHTS
Warranty rights can be exercised by completing the warranty request form, showing a copy of the warranty and the purchase receipt and sharing the contact details (as provided when registering the FRAME KIT on our website www.ducati-cycling.com).
After receiving the warranty request, DIAMANT S.r.l. will notify the client about the appropriate procedure to follow. Failure to follow this procedure may result in the forfeiture of warranty rights.

4. CHANGES
DIAMANT S.r.l. reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will apply only to purchases completed after the changes have been published.
